Halloween maybe over, but it hasn't gone away you know! Madwomen in the Attic is an all female production put on by Fickle Favours "candlelit atmospheric staged readings of landmark 19th Century horror stories, written by women. Starring Sonia Abercrombie and Rachael McCabe. Directed by Aislinn Clarke. " It all sounds so dark and stormy and exciting! Being held upstairs in The Sunflower, which is a top spot with bags of Character and a great selection of beers (local and otherwise) and the company itself is based on the ethos of showcasing women's writing, acting and directing, so it seems we can look forward to more productions of this kind in the future from these gals. Bravo. Who wrote this?Sir Christopher J Caldwell. I enjoy wrestling, films and nautical adventure. I've just finished making a short film which you can see here. I also DJ sometimes - next one is the Black Sabbath afterparty in Voodoo - check it out here. You'll see me out and about eating or drinking. Sometimes even both whilst walking. I have written for The Big List. I currently also write for BBC Across The Line.
